Dr. Madrid completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at California State University of Fullerton in Fullerton, CA. He went on to complete his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine in Irvine, CA. Dr. Madrid completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico, VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM, and finished his fellowship in Gastroenterology from the same school.
Dr. Madrid has won many awards and honors including Honors in Surgery from the University of California and the UCI College of Medicine Service Award.
Dr. Madrid is a member of the Colorado Medical Society, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and is a Board Member of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, Rocky Mountain Chapter.
Dr. Madrid is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
