Dr. Andrew S. Korson is a board certified gastroenterologist bringing vast experience and fluency in the Spanish language to the RMG Wheat Ridge clinic and Lakewood Endoscopy. He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York and completed his internship and residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Mass. as well as a clinical fellowship in medicine at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Korson has advanced training in interventional endoscopy as well as pancreatic and biliary endoscopy. Throughout his career, he has obtained prestigious honors, including election into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society, a recipient of the Harvard Medical School Excellence in Tutoring Award and was awarded with the University of Colorado Travel Grant among many other honors.
Prior to joining RMG, Dr. Korson was the Clinical Fellow in Gastroenterology at the University of Washington in Seattle, Wash.
